Thanks to all of you music fans out there who tuned in to KFOG's Morning Show on Thursday September 13th to hear Larkin interviewed as well to hear her perform a beautiful rendition of, "A Life of Everything." This appearance is to help promote the KFOG Local Scene 4 CD on which Larkin's song is featured.

The album has tons of great local artists on it and is for sale in limited quantities for only 5 bucks with proceeds going directly to Music In Schools Today, a very worthy cause.  Also, please feel free to send an e-request to KFOG letting them know that would like to hear Larkin on the radio.  Thanks!

Heidi Roizen, one of Silicon Valley's best known female venture capitalists, has turned pop songwriter, crafting an upbeat collection of songs - including numbers like "Skinny Jeans" and "I'm a Hottie Now" - intended to help women shed pounds while grooving along to the music.

Try this lyric on for size: "I use wills of steel, at every meal, to control my every bite/And with my xray vision I can see without a doubt/There's a skinny girl inside me, I've just got to let her out."  More...

Tim Hockenberry Live At George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch

Marin County, CA-- April 4th, 2007—It was a night of celebration for Tim Hockenberry and his talented band as they capped off a creative and productive week of tracking his new album in one of the great recording studios of the world- George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch. However, About Record's founder and CEO George Daly, who is also wearing the producer hat for Tim's record, wasn't quite done with Skywalker Sound just yet- he decided to throw a party for Tim! Great friends and colleagues attended from far and wide, delicious food and drinks were served, and the stage was set quite literally for Mr. Hockenberry himself to enter the spotlight in the "big room" and deliver a diverse set of powerful, heartfelt songs backed by his tight band of seasoned players. But what made this concert even more special was that full concert was captured live on video as well as recorded direct to tape, some of which is featured as part of Tim Hockenberry's debut solo album, "Back In Your Arms" now in stores. Oh what a night, what an amazing night!
